Maritime Cities (2023-Current)
This research project aims to investigate the viability of digital transformation initiatives in enhancing the quality of life within these maritime urban centers. Essential inquiries include the effective implementation of digital transformation strategies, a comprehensive assessment of quality-of-life dimensions encompassing infrastructure, transportation, environmental sustainability, and social connectivity, as well as strategies to overcome prevailing barriers and challenges. Additionally, this study seeks to elucidate the roles played by local governance, community stakeholders, and private sector partnerships in advancing and supporting digital transformation projects within maritime Canadian cities.
